question of the day: What burning question do you hope ‘Terminator Salvation’ will finally answer?

The timeline of the Terminator universe is such a mess that I wonder if John Connor even will haven existed anymore. I don’t know when Judgment Day is, I don’t know who invented Skynet or when, and I don’t know how Sarah Connor can still be alive (but cancelled) in 2009. I’m so confused!

But now McG has kindly given us another opportunity to figure things out with Terminator Salvation. And because we’re geeks, we can’t help but be hopeful that something intriguing will come out of this, whether it’s yet another apparent alternative universe and maybe just John Connor accidentally becoming (or killing) his own grandpa, thereby revealing the Terminator franchise as merely one big time travel joke.

So I ask you, my geek peeps, What burning question do you hope Terminator Salvation will finally answer?

(If you have a suggestion for a QOTD, feel free to email me.)

Why did Skynet program the Terminator that it was sending to 20th century California with an Austrian accent?

It's a long shot but "What is the Ultimate Question"?

Can McG finally direct a quality motion picture that's fun to watch and doesn't make you feel like you've wasted two hours of your life?

Why do generic blow-things-up movies like this get made, yet Sarah Connor Chronicles gets cancelled? Actually, I'm not sure I want to think too much about that question.

JSW: The Austrian phoneme selection takes up less CPU power than standard-English, leaving more for badassery.
