my summer of David Tennant and ‘Hamlet’: Part DeuxLast summer, starting just around this very same time, I began my “Summer of David Tennant and ‘Hamlet.’” It was a way to psych myself up -- as if I needed that -- for my then-upcoming September trip to England to see David Tennant in Hamlet at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. The trip is long over, but I never did get anywhere near finishing blogging about all the lovely David Tennant-ness to be found on DVD, or even all the Hamlets to be seen. So I’m gonna pick it up again. Because what better way to spend the summer than with David Tennant... and Hamlet. (Oh, and I shall be returning to Stratford again this September, to see more Shakespeare at the RSC -- though, alas, Tennant will not be performing. Cuz last year’s trip got me rehooked on theater, and on England, and I can’t wait to go back.) my summer of David Tennant: • Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) my summer of Hamlet: • (coming soon) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Ohh if you're going back in September try and see Twelfth Night... Sam Alexander aka Rosencrantz is playing Sebastian :)

unfortunately, Twelfth Night doesn't start at Stratford until October 15th... we will be back by then. it also stars Richard Wilson, who was in the "Are you my Mummy?" episode of Doctor Who (as well as many other british shows).

Richard Wilson is also the lead in another show with David Tennant called Duck Patrol. I think most (if not all) is on Youtube and David is delightfully shy and geeky in it.
