the oh-no! DVD of the week: ‘The Pink Panther 2’ (blu-ray)
I can almost just about understand why The Pink Panther 2 would warrant a DVD release. Folks will pick it up accidentally at Wal-mart because they’ll think its the first one (not that that one didn’t suck) and then be too lazy to return it (or will have removed the shrinkwrap, and then tough luck, sucker, it’s yours forever), or they’ll have heard that it’s only 13 percent Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and that’s why they skipped it at the multiplex, but hey, maybe it’s worth a rental.
But who in their right mind would shell out an extra 10 bucks -- on top of the 20 bucks you’d spend for it on DVD -- for blu-ray? Who needs to see Steve Martin’s disgrace in high-definition? Is his downfall really so important that it must be witnessed in the best possible picture quality human technology has been able to create to date? Should we not allow Martin his dignity, and at least give him the relative cover of 780p?
Shame on us all.

Hey, it's "A Comic Gem" (according to that writing on the cover).

13% at Rotten Tomatoes, but most ratings at amazon are 3 to 4 stars. This either shows that those critics who reviewed the movie don't know what people like, or that the film company pays some people to write good reviews for amazon.
And we *know* that no company would be so pathetic to do *that*, don't we?

If you spend 30 bucks on a film this bad, you *deserve* a turd like this.
