bias update: July 21
obsession: Torchwood: Children of Earth (holy crap, is this haunting me like crazy... episode by episode coming next week, so the BBC America viewers can join in)
boyfriend: John Simm in Life on Mars (gonna have some John Simm news soon... plus, gonna go episode by episode through LoM, too)
psyched: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (but only for Christopher Eccleston... and all the hilarious cheesiness we are surely in for)
girl crush: Shohreh Aghdashloo (so awesome and powerful in The Stoning of Soraya M.)
dreading: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (I don’t get the appeal of Channing Tatum... at all)
enemy: Michael Bay (for the end-of-empire spectacle that is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)

some very important and almost tragic G.I. Joe movie news:

(it's for real)

Aw, couldn't you have thrown Catherine Tate or new girl Karen Gillen up there as your girl crush, just so we could squeeze in one more Who pic for the lads ;)
So glad to hear you'll do an episode by episode of LoM -- be nice to get the taste of the US version out of my mouth...

Don't forget Joseph Gordon-Levitt - Tommy from "Third Rock From The Sun" - as Cobra Commander! He's likely one of the few actors who could bring the proper degree of hysterical intensity to that role.
Between Joseph and Chris, the C.O.B.R.A. sequences alone might make the film worth watching! :)

Yeah, I think this is going to be one of those films we're going to be watching desperately hoping that the villains might win for once.

Wait. I'm confused. How can you be psyched for and dreading the same movie? And yes, I get that CE is in it. I still think you're giving yourself whiplash.

So, when are you coming back to England again?
