trailer break: ‘A Perfect Getaway’

Take a break from work: watch a trailer...

I so thought Announcer Guy was gonna say this island was “as beautiful as it is deadly.”

Oh, man, does the trailer give away the fact that Tim Olyphant is the killer?... [waits] Ah, it’s not meant to be a secret: Olyphant is not a secret psycho: he’s comfortable with himself and out of the closet with teh crazi. That’s nice.

It would be much funnier if Steve Zahn and Milla Jovovich turned out to be the killers, though. No one ever suspects the little guy.

So eventually they will have some dinosaurs on this dinosaur island of theirs, right?

A Perfect Getaway opens in the U.S. on August 7, and in the U.K. on August 12.

My first thought was that it was Zahn. Newlyweds go on vacation, people die, new wife finds out hubby has done it all before...yada yada. That's my prediction

No you guys all are wrongossssssss!!!! we wont know who the killer is until we see the movie!!! its possible milla and zahn will get framed for it or somthing that what i think

Looking forward to seeing this Drama adventure filled film "A Perfect Getaway" Starring Milla Jovovich (Residential Evil franchise fame)..'and Steve Zahn whom "both" are just incrediable actors. The trailer to their new film "A Perfect Getaway" looks amazing/full blown speed ahead-action hold on to your hats because it's gonna be a "killer" of a Summer movie flick! The whole Cast & storyline very strong & potent and August 7th is a date to look forward to for "A Pertfect Getaway". Can't wait!

Nine Inch Nails are now the standard for trailer music, apparently...

dudes, seriously, if you're going to be a promo troll, must you be so GLARINGLY OBVIOUS? (Not you Stuart, "Sharon")

LOL re: Sharon

I'll see anything with Steve Zahn in it, he's adorable and unique. Even if the movie is crap, Steve is always a sweet treat to eat.

Dang! "...removed for terms of use violation" just when I was going to watch this trailer again before discussing some details I learned elsewhere.

Well okay, then. If the studio really hates free promotion that much, guess I'd better keep my thoughts about the movie to myself.

(Although this does clear up any mystery about why the committee of ad copy hacks behind obvious shill "Sharon Lynn" thinks anybody will be fooled by their inane babble.)

I swapped out the pulled trailer for another version. Same trailer, just another upload to YouTube.

You do have to wonder about the studios. They think we'll be fooled by obvious trolls, but they don't want us to watch their trailer and make our own determination that the movie might be potentially interesting.

"Residential Evil" -- I like that. "The mortgage crisis takes a new dead-end detour... into murder!"

Don't listen to that mean old ninja Sharon Lynn. She's just jealous of your incrediable skills. I think you're doing a bang-up full blown amazing speed ahead job, and my wife and I "both" agree that your writing very strong and potent.

@amanohyo LOL! You almost made me spit out my chai tea all over my work monitor!

It's "Sharon Lynn" who made me burst out in laughter at work. Her typos are truly inspired. (I think she might be trying to bring the system down from the inside; hopefully, we haven't gotten her fired yet) If any marketing overlords are reading this, give that woman a raise! ...or just continue lacing her lunches with coccaine... whichever is more appropriate.

lmfao ok u guys made me crack up.. anyways saw the movie, it was ok i guess, kinna predictable. don wanna ruin it 4 d ppl who haven't seen it yet, so not tellin who d killers r lol
