screencap Friday: what the flick? #78
Friday fun! Here’s a screen capture from one of the DVDs in my collection (and it’s definitely from a movie, not a TV show). Guess the movie for fun and, well, fun. No prizes, just bragging rights. But hey: one guess per comment -- no fair hogging all the guesses.

PaulW - Night of the Lepus? NIGHT OF THE LEPUS?
Good grief, I was convinced I was the only person to have ever seen that movie. I have, on numerous occasions, related the story of the giant bunnies and the circle of cars to looks ranging from polite bemusement to concern to my sanity.
You've made my day.

Night of the Lepus is AWESOME! And terrible. But worth watching just for DeForest Kelley, Janet Leigh, and the weird atmospheric 'soundtrack'
But for the screen capture, I'll guess "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"

I'm pretty sure it's brokeback but someone already said it, it's the scene with topless Anne Hathaway
in case it's not brokeback, I'm goona go with Lost Highway

The location looks EXACTLY like one of the armories at Camp Pendleton, so I'm going with Heartbreak Ridge.

Going on the Lynch-ian idea, I'm gonna say Mulholland Drive.

So I take it nobody has guessed correctly? What movie is this, it's bugging the hell out of me!
(I also toyed briefly with 'Jeepers Creepers' and 'Joy Ride' as possibilities but the cars/lights are slightly off...)

Sorry, Nadia got it: It's *Brokeback Mountain.*
