retro trailer: ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’
Take a look back at an old trailer...
(more below the ad... scroll down...)
A most excellent trailer, dudes, for a most excellent film.
I wonder what the Doctor would say about that phone booth time machine...
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is available on DVD in Region 1 and Region 2.

Ah, yes, one of the guilty pleasures of my teenage years. As a history buff, I laughed so hard at that movie I was doubled over.
And that opening song! "Break Away!"

You wonder what the Doctor would say . . . and I wonder what Doc Brown would say about the space/time continuum consequences of bringing all those historical figures to California in 1988. Great Scott!
Still, one of my favorite movies. This and its vastly underappreciated sequel were the high points of Keanu's career.

That's because he didn't have to do any acting.

The only time I laughed at the sequel I was laughing alone, because I was the only one who got the joke.
Bill and Ted had been watching Captain Kirk on TV running up a hill away from a monster. Later in the movie, Bill and Ted run up the same hill at the same angle from monsters. It's the exact same shot.
