I wonder if it's possible to take zombies seriously any more? (this is semi-professional curiosity)
They have been faintly ridiculous for a long time, it's true.

I want to see Zombieland and plan to laugh my ass off, but there's a comic book series called The Walking Dead that treats it straight.
