the further adventures of Nigel (Saturday)[previous] Yesterday, Nigel the Charity Pig joined me and my pal Bonnie at the Stratford Festival of Food:
What you see there are the remains of a rabbit, venison, and pheasant pie -- no pigs were harmed in the making of it. (Nigel remained safely in my bag while we sampled all the many delicious local pork sausages from the Warwickshire farmers in attendance.) Afterward, we visited some of the local Bard-related sights. Here, Nigel pitches in with the ongoing renovations to the RSC’s home theater:
(I didn’t have the heart to tell him that the crane was perfectly able to stand up on its own.) Nigel checks out the statue of Hamlet in the park:

Ending the day with a pint in the pub, and making new friends in Londoners Steve and Diane, visiting Stratford for the weekend:
