I remember that dramatic and important even in my young life, when I had to decide whether to join a gang, go it alone, or mate.

Blowing off a date to spend the evening with girlfriends is daring and defiant? They’re more like hell kittens, aren’t they? And that last bit just goes to show what happens to girls who misbehave in even the slightest way: they get attacked by high school hotshots at an anything-goes party.
