trailer break: ‘The Slammin’ Salmon’Take a break from work: watch a trailer... Remember, this is all the funniest stuff the movie has to offer. Mispronunciation of “ethnic” names and misunderstanding of “ethnic” slang, a fancy restaurant that serves spoiled food and serves cats as customers, stupid puns, stupid people, physical abuse, physical humiliation, boobs, jokes about defecation. What’s not to love? The Slammin’ Salmon opens in the U.S. on December 11; no U.K. release date has been announced. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Perhaps 'Transylmania' will be beat as worst opening ever with this one.

Urm... it's a sad day when there aren't enough funny parts in the movie to make up a whole trailer.

The only part that made me almost laugh was when he ordered them all into his office and the customers started getting up.

These guys made Supertroopers and Beerfest, both movies I thoroughly enjoy, so I'm willing to chance some money on this one.
It might not be high brow humor, but some humor snacking now and again doesn't do me harm. >B')

Wow. That looks so bad. Nothing even remotely funny there at all.
I recall watching Supertroopers. That's about it.
Big time pass on this one.

I couldn't even bother watching that all the way through. If I can't take the trailer for its full length, I definately won't be going to the movie.

I knew this movie was no good as soon as I found out it's not ninety minutes about just how cool Colin Salmon is.

It's official. If you're that desperate to see a comedy about a black restaurant owner, you're better off renting Chef, the old British series with Lenny Henry. Even the so-so last season of that series is way better than this.
This one is just...sad.
And I'm surprised that MaryAnn hasn't adjusted the video's HTML to make the trailer fit within her format. But then again it's her site and her sense of aesthetics so er--never mind...
