trailer break: ‘Gunless’

Take a break from work: watch a trailer...

Oh my goodness, Paul Gross does make my toes curl in the most delightful way. And then when he’s funny, I fall in love all the more.

Maybe Brisco County Jr. is the one who dares to go up against the Montana Kid? I think I might just have to die from an overdose of wonderfulness if Paul Gross and Bruce Campbell were in the same movie? (Looks like Monika Bartyzel at Cinematical has the same idea.)

Gunless opens in Canada on April 30; no U.S. or U.K. release dates have been announced.

If Paul Gross were to guest star on Burn Notice, I would be a very happy fangirl.

Rachel: you're an evil woman. i cannot even see this video on my computer at work, but will now not be able to stop thinking about Paul Gross (hard time stopping that in any event) being an evil gun runner, an ambiguous man of mystery, a canadian mountie in florida... a travelling musician. damn. no more work for me today.

Bronxbee, I take that as an exceedingly high compliment. Thank you!

Adding to my evil rating:

- Paul Gross guest-stars as a former JTF2 commando who'd crossed paths with our favorite Navy SEAL back in the day, and is now in Miami for ... well, that would be telling.

- Paul Gross guest-stars as a now-certifiably sane artistic director who came to Miami to start up a non-profit theatre, but his building happens to be on a block that is the site of a vicious turf war. The show must go on, but it can't unless our favorite Navy SEAL and friends lend a hand.

*oh my* (fans hand rapidly while swooning)

And of course, all character/storyline possibilities would allow for him to return as a recurring guest star.

oh, of course. i'd like it even better if there was a bit of tension between him and sam over being michael's pal and/or fiona's pal.

and now i've seen this little video -- i am completely captivated. i *must* see this movie.

Earlier today I was, in fact, contemplating how a Paul Gross character would interact with Fiona, or Maddy for that matter.

*sigh* If only....

So, the movie's been out for almost 2 weeks now, and I'm very curious as to whether you've managed to find a way to see it despite living in the US! Or will you have to wait for DVD? (I did see it, being a Canadian. I enjoyed it a great deal. And Paul Gross was, as always, a delight)

i'm trying to convince maryann that -- purely in the interests of art criticism, of course* -- we need to take a trip to canada to see that movie!

*all right, i confess, i'm mad for paul gross. we've done crazier trips for similar reasons.

I have no way of seeing this. Maybe I'll try to contact the production company to see if they'd be willing to send me a screener.

and that was going to be my next (and more practical) suggestion.
