trailer break: ‘The A-Team’Take a break from work: watch a trailer... I know this is supposed to be serious and all, what with its tale of justice wronged and mid-air tank battles, but I can’t help giggling deliriously through this. Tee-hee! Hannibal said, “I love it when I plan comes together”! Man, I cannot wait for this movie. Is it too soon for me to be official Psyched? Yeah, probably... The A-Team opens in the U.S. and Canada on June 11, and in the U.K. on July 30. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Shame on Mr. T. for refusing to stoop so low as to have a cameo.

whoo-hoo! i loved the A Team and cannot wait to see this! and it's mr. t's loss... and i don't always enjoy seeing the older character actors make silly cameo appearances in the reboots. i think this will be awesome (i hope, i hope, i hope....)

Hmmm, this trailer seems to have an appropriate level of "over the top". I approve.

I love how, in the cockpit scene, you can see B.A. behind Murdock's shoulder, and he's clearly unconscious. As he should be. :-)
How great would it be if nobody died in the film, and everyone just crawled out from under flipped jeeps?

...I'm actually terrified. This is making me feel this is gonna be more "Charlie's Angels" than anything else. Wrong, something I can't put my finger on, it's just wrong...

Really? When it got to the mid-air tank battle, I was thinking "aha so it IS going to be goofy after all!"

Have to say that with such an essentially silly inspiration (and I don't mean that in a bad way) about the only way they could screw this up is to take it too seriously. Fortunately it doesn't look as though that has happened.

Ah, so you thought all the justice-wronged stuff was serious? :->

I can put my finger on it, though: it's the special effects and the cinematography. Everyone's gone all Michael Bay with the colors and shot composition. And I get the sneaking impression that either all the action movies are using the same small handful of SFX shops or all the SFX shops in Hollywood are all doing the same damn thing.
