I would have liked to have seen the rest of that. Of course, I don't know whether it'd have stopped spinning or if the entire thing was just a big ol' studio-based put-on.
I haven't gone to your link yet (name gets blocked over here; will go later), but according to this, someone who did something similar as an art project in 2004 was on the Toshiba team.
For those of you curious what it says on Ken's link to CopyC***s
Grey are adamant that Simon
Faithful was 'part of the team' on the Toshiba ad. Strange, then, that he's not mentioned in any single piece of their publicity or supporting material.
As I stated, Toshiba mentioned someone (Simon Faithful, apparently) was on their team, per the link I gave. The CopyC***s link states that claim is false, but they don't supply any evidence to support it, rather they point to the absence of evidence. I'm almost intrigued enough to care.

I was waiting for that ending. Hope the "armchair viewing, redefined" experience for the TV they are advertising doesn't end in the same results.

BTW: Just found this expose on how UN-original this ad is at CopyC**** (Sorry about the blog's title, for those that the C-Word offends...)
