obsession: Canadian TV (and film) (because I’m hungry for something new and good)
boyfriend: Esai Morales in Caprica (not so much his character, though: he’s kinda scary)
psyched: Alice in Wonderland (even though I’m still on Disney’s shitlist)
girl crush: Vera Farmiga in Up in the Air (because she’s too cool)
dreading: Cop Out (why, Kevin Smith? why?)
enemy: everyone connected with Tooth Fairy (for totally misunderstanding fantasy)

If you're still looking for Canadian television to check out, I recently Netflixed the first season of Da Vinci's Inquest (circa 1998) and am really enjoying it. It seems to be Canada's answer to Law and Order in that every actor working in or around Vancouver has made an appearance. Jewel Staite and Doc Cottle from BSG are regulars--heck even Apophis from Stargate SG-1 is a recurring character. I noticed it kept popping up when I looked up anyone from Stargate or BSG on IMDB and that's how I stumbled across it, but it has a kind of cool vibe (the show itself isn't very like Law & Order to me, other than that it is a procedural--seems to be a lot of focus on the characters). Anyhoo, just thought I'd pass it along.
