The Repo Men trailer I posted earlier this week made me hungry for Repo Man.
My decade-old review of Repo Man still holds, and what I find interesting about this trailer is that it’s just as mysterious as the film itself: it doesn’t reveal much, and leaves you scratching your head, desperate for more.
Alex Cox knows his punx! Joe Strummer (RIP) wrote the score for his Walker, not to mention Straight To Hell (one BIG punk in-joke)...with a very appropriately used Courtney Love.
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I actually own a copy and only own about a dozen films. Half of them are by Alex Cox.

Don't forget the great SoCal punk soundtrack. Alex Cox knew his punks.

Yea - I've been jonsing for this movie all week. When I saw your review for 'Repo Men' the first thing that popped into my mind was "Plate o'Shrimp"

That trailer was so misleading. At no time does anyone actually repossess any cars! It's such a cheat.
And there was no shrimp either! There was a plate, sure, but no shrimp!
...I kid. I LOVE THIS FRICKING MOVIE!
(pssst. Don't let Hollywood know. If they find out, they try another fricking remake with one of the Jonas Brothers as Otto (NNOOOOOOOOOOOO)).
