...and the snow is gonna get worse all day, the TV tells me, with full-out blizzard conditions by the late afternoon.
Which means I’m gonna have to skip my screening tonight of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which I was kinda looking forward to, unless I want to embark upon an arctic expedition just to get to the bus stop. And I think I’d rather not do that. (There are a few more screenings coming up anyway, so I’ll have another chance.)
Ironically, I had also figured on catching Frozen at the multiplex today. I don’t much fancy actually starring in my own personal reenactment of it, however. So that’ll have to wait for another day, too...

Snowed here in DC as well. I'm surprised your buses are even running. Our haven't been running since Saturday. Time to crack open the wine and marathon DVDs. :)

NYC is famous for keeping on keeping on... nothing must interrupt the flow of business. the subways are going pretty smoothly, and the buses are running -- a bit slower than usual, maybe but still running.

One of the (very few) downsides to working from home is that you don't get a snowday...
