screencap Friday: what the flick? #111Friday fun! Here’s a screen capture from a DVD... and just to make things harder for 2010, this one is from a TV show which may or may not be in my collection (it’s sooo much easier to do screengrabs now that Netflix is streaming to my computer). Guess the TV show -- you don’t need to guess the episode, just the show -- and earn the respect of me and your fellow FlickFilosopher.com readers. One guess per comment -- no fair hogging all the guesses.

Good one Orangutan! I hadn't thought about that show in ages.
My guess is Starsky and Hutch

Gilligan's Island? (Yes, it seems unlikely, but you never know...)

All good guesses, but nope.

Thank you! Neither had I, to be honest. All I really remember of it is that boats were involved, and they had a robot that as a kid I thought was just plain awesome. :)
I'm gonna burn the obvious one for my second guess... Magnum P.I.?

uhmmmm... Miami Vice?

Humph - I was gonna say "Miami Vice" on Friday evening, but I thought it was too unlikely. But since bronxbee often seems to know what MAJ is watching, I'm kicking myself. My only hesitation is that I seem to remember all the boats on MV being fancier than these.

No one's got it, but you're getting closer with 1970s guesses...

well, then, Miami Vice and my other guess (Simon & Simon) are both wrong, since those are 1980s show...
oh.OH! Magnum PI (yes, i know i've exceeded my guess limit).
