I was overhasty this morning in deleting two comments that I mistook for spam: in fact, they were directing us all to where we can see “Logorama,” the fourth of the five Oscar-nominated animated short films. (My apologies to that commenter.) It’s not embeddable -- and it’s possible that this may be deleted at some point in short order, since most other online instances of the full film have been taken down over copyright issues -- but right now, it’s available at VodPod. Warning: It’s infested with tons of NSFW language.
Since I’ve now seen all five of the nominees in this category -- “A Matter of Loaf and Death” isn’t online but I bought the DVD [Amazon U.S.] [Amazon Canada] [Amazon U.K.] -- I’ve added my prediction for this category to my Oscars forecast.

well, Logorama was one wild ride... i cannot believe they aren't being sued...never mind getting nominated. certainly the most intriguing of the ones i watched... i do think the Old Lady and Death will win...but this one certainly should give the voters pause. i liked French Roast a lot too... and Matter of Loaf and Death... well, i just love animated shorts anyway.
