me on Saskatchewan radioToday, 6:15 Eastern time, 4:15 Central, I’ll be on Afternoon News with Cory Kolt on News Talk 980 CJME. We’re gonna be talking about Conan O’Brien -- guess my post earlier about what O’Brien should do next popped up on someone’s Google Alert. I have no idea how many readers I have in Saskatchewan. Not many, I’m guessing... Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Hmmm...
I'll try to listen, but 6:15E is 5:15 central, not 4:15. Can I assume the mistake was in the subtraction and not the 6:15? :)

What? You don't have loads of readers in the home province of Leslie Nielsen? Surely you jest!

You'd be surprised - for a small province (population-wise), Saskatchewan is pretty culturally rich.

Yeah, you're right. They said they'd call me at 6:15, which is just a few minutes away. And they didn't call at 5:15. Could it be a difference in Daylight Savings Time?

Did you get to go on? Listening now (5:30 PM CST) and it's just the news. Bummer if they bumped you.

Weather now. Thought I'd see if maybe it turns out to be 6:15 CST.

Looks like either it's a nogo or I missed it. They have been talking a lot about weather systems, but it may have just been a scheduling problem. Guess I'll go see about that podcast you mentioned.

Some border towns follow the time schemes of their neighbours in Manitoba or Alberta."

Ok, I just missed it. Got busy with some other stuff and didn't get tuned in until 5:30 CST, which would have been 6:30 EST. Is there a recording of it anywhere?

You could try the site linked in the original post. If it's not there, it won't be anywhere else, I imagine.
