trailer break: ‘Jonah Hex’Take a break from work: watch a trailer... So is the crossed-over Jonah Hex basically Jesus? He raises that one guy from the dead... This is not a possibility I was expecting from this movie. (I’m not familiar with the source material -- maybe there’s a Jesus-y thing in there?) Jesus was pretty much a zombie, too. And now Jonah doesn’t have a cheek to turn, so revenge is all that’s left to him, I suppose. Oh dear, this looks extremely silly. I wasn’t expecting that, either, despite the presence of Megan Fox. I guess I should have. Looks like John Malkovich will be in scenery-chewing mode in this one, too. *sigh* Jonah Hex opens in the U.S. and Canada on June 18; no U.K. release date has been announced. I'd imagine that Jesus-ing the guy was more speaking with the dead than bringing him back to life.

Yes, all christians are zombies, actually. It's the process of being "born again" that does it. I'm surprised you hadn't heard. Remember the Lord's Prayer:
Give us this day our daily braaaaiiiinssss.

I'm not sure how I feel about this movie. I love Josh Brolin and loathe Megan Fox. But it also has Will Arnett, Aidan Quinn and Michael Shannon, so it can't be all bad!

Don't know if I want to sit through an entire movie and watch that hole in Josh Brolin's face(Brolin who is an otherwise nice looking guy).
Is that hole supposed to give the character meaning or does he actually have meaning? From the looks of the trailer it seems as usual Hollywood took the lazy way out. Character development be damned.

Hex is an excellent comic book; including the most current iteration.
This movie looks like a failure.
