‘Totally Geeky Guide to The Princess Bride’ now available in ebook formatI am delighted to announce that the second prong -- ebooks -- of my plan to become Empress of the Internet has begun to be implemented. My book The Totally Geeky Guide to The Princess Bride, a long deconstruction of that cult-favorite film, is now available in multiple ebook formats via Smashwords. You can read a sample of one-third of the entire book for free, and if you want to read the whole thing, it’ll run you a measly buck 99. The print version will continue to be available via Amazon [U.S.] [Canada] [U.K.], too, of course. I’ve got a couple of print copies still cluttering up my office, and I’d like to get rid of them. If you’d like an autographed copy for a cheap $10 -- I’ll even throw in postage to anywhere on the planet, free for nothing -- drop me an email. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Bought an ePub version for my iPad. I already had the book version when I won a contest, but now I can enjoy geeky goodness on a geeky device . . .

welcome to the ebook club.
have you thought about any other films to critique? A comparative of superhero films - Superman 1, Batman 89 vs Dark Knight, X-Men, etc - would be nice...

I have a couple of other ideas for Totally Geeky Guides. I won't say which yet because I haven't decided which one to do next.

It's a great book, both for lovers of Princess Bride and fans of MaryAnn's writing. I give it 5 RoUS's out of 5.
