Saturday cute: boy superheroThursday was shaping up to be just another school day for 13-year-old Erik Martin, but then something extraordinary happened: Spider-Man called. It’s enough to make you reconsider hating people: Pulling off a wish like this one required a big story, and a lot of heart. And so, with a note of panic in his voice, Spider-Man explained the dilemma: "Dr. Dark" and "Blackout Boy" had imprisoned the Seattle Sounders in a locker room at Qwest Field. Only Electron Boy could free them. There’s so much more. Go read the whole story -- and look at the rest of the pictures. Keep Kleenex handy. (thanks to reader John) (Got a photo that’s adorable and at least vaguely pop-culture related? Found such a photo online? Send a link or an image, and I might post it!) This story is absolutely amazing. And one of the guys who played one of the villains was Edgar Hansen from Deadliest Catch! Awesome!
