female gazing at: Paul Gross
Looks like it’s men-in-uniform week. Because sometimes what a guy is wearing is just as much a turn-on as what he isn’t wearing. I was gonna save Paul Gross for another themed week (you’ll just have to wait and see; I won’t have any compunctions about repeating guys in this feature), but by popular demand -- with which I fully concur -- here is Paul Gross as RCMP officer Benton Fraser. Mmm, Mountie... I’m posting a picture like this one every weekday, of a man who is attractive and desirable, because I like to look, dammit -- and because the female gaze doesn’t have to be such serious business. (If you have a suggestion for someone we should female-gaze at, feel free to email me with a name or a link to a particular photo.) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

There are so many pictures of him worth looking at, I'm sure repeats won't be an issue. =)
*has started a Due South rewatch* *is appalled by all the shoulder pads in Chicago*

Ahh, lovely. Thank you for this feature. I am enjoying gazing daily!

Yes! I posted the original opening to Due South on my Facebook page and no one seemed to remember the show. That made me rather sad. I love Paul and Callum Keith Rennie.

'Due South' is one of my greatest TV-loves - so thank you kindly! (Bonus points for including Diefenbaker!)

Anyone else think he would've been great as Carrot from the Discworld books?

Can any Canadian readers confirm if the Mounties actually are as stunningly beautiful as this? If yes, I'm getting a VISA sorted out tomorrow..
I agree with JenniferJ, I'm loving this feature.

I'll just be over here sighing happily as I gaze.

There's just something irresistible about a man who is smart, self-confidently assertive, polite and masculine - a masculinity that derives from that innate self-confidence and not from demeaning women to prove themselves as 'manly'.
And that serious business comment done with, allow me to say, quite succinctly and without reservation: UNF.
I'll be in my bunk, nursing my DVD copies of Due South.

@JohnnyInc - I'm not sure if he'd be my first choice for Carrot, but I can definitely imagine Fraser and Carrot meeting and working a case together. They'd probably understand each other quite well.
@Alryssa - As you say. ;)

He is equally dreamy on "Slings and Arrows", albeit a lot more shabbily dressed.

Oh yeah - I am a huge Slings & Arrows fan. Heck, I even watched Men With Brooms because of Paul Gross :-)
(Scurries off to move Due South to the top of her Netflix queue)

Happy birthday to me! How did you know? Thanks MaryAnn - Benton Fraser is perfect for any day though.
