Over the years I got to be quite a connoisseur of soap. My personal preference was for Lux, but I found Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor - heady, but with just a touch of mellow smoothness. Lifebuoy, on the other hand...YECCHH!

Flavor notwithstanding, I do wish that the man who sat next to me on the train this morning had used Lifebuoy. It's already hot and humid here in DC and this guy was definitely in need of some "personal freshness!"

OK, so the best part is sneaked right in at the end there -- as far as I can tell, Anonymous Male Hand slips an engagement ring onto Anonymous Female Hand, totally out of the blue, no context whatsoever. Are we meant to understand that using this soap will get us ladies proposed to? Thanks, Life Buoy!
