I have to agree with surreyhill. I've always found him attractive and yet there have been many times I've had to justify or apologize for it. He seems to have really beefed up for Predators (I can't wait to see it for him alone) but I've always liked tall and skinny lol. And sexy, hell yes. Talent is sexy.

Adrien just has this timeless, elegant sexiness which never goes out of style...

I think because his looks are a little off-kilter, or just not in the "gosh, he's pretty like a gazillion other actors" way, Brody begs (well, not him literally) to be looked at and studied rather than just glossed over.

Never would have looked at him twice randomly on the street; but, once met him at a friend's party (years ago, before Summer of Sam came out) and he had a lot of charm. Hence, everytime I see him in a movie, my mind flashes back to that. Yeah, sexy.

I love that last picture of him. It shows up his sensitive, vulnerable, intelligent look. He was a feast in King Kong and Cadillac Records. And I always thought he was a dead ringer for a young Sherlock Holmes.

Though I actually find the beefcake photos of him pretty jarring! I mean, I shrink from saying something judgmental and entitled like "he's 'too' built;" it's his body to inhabit as he pleases, and that is one damn accomplished physique. Nor is it fair to say any particular appearance should be linked to any particular persona, that "brainy" guys can't have a Men's Health cover bod or that buff guys can't be brainy. But. . . . I dunno! I find something dissonant about his beefcake look and prefer seeing him clothed. (I am sure this will break his heart.)

He reminds me a little of Jeff Goldblum, who would, btw, make an excellent candidate.

Adrien Brody, yes! Something about him! Couldn't take my eyes off him in "The Brothers Bloom" or "Darjeeling Limited." Don't really care about his real-life personality... just like to look!
