female gazing at: Jon Hamm

With Mad Men returning to our TV tubes this Sunday, it’s time to worship the fine physical specimen that is Jon Hamm.

Disheveled remnants of a tux is a look every man should master:

I’m a sucker for little glasses:

Arrest me:

That last one is from the set of The Town, Ben Affleck’s directorial followup to Gone Baby Gone, which opens in North America this autumn.

I’m posting pictures like these every weekday, of a man who is attractive and desirable, because I like to look, dammit -- and because the female gaze doesn’t have to be such serious business.

(If you have a suggestion for someone we should female-gaze at, feel free to email me with a name or a link to a particular photo.)

Nice choice....though, they've all been nice choices so far. Thank you. :)

I'm looking forward to The Town. Jon Hamm AND Jeremy Renner! Now if I could finish reading the book... or maybe not, since it's usually better to see the movie before reading the book.

...but having read about halfway through the book, I wonder if they'll keep the bit where Hamm's character gets a stain over half his face because of an exploding dye pack.

Mmmm yes. Hello, Don Draper.

He's got a really cute commercial that he did for the St. Louis Blues.

It's on Youtube

He is the Clark Kent candidate for the next Superman film. You heard it here first. The current rumor is that the actor they are trying to get for Superman is "exactly who you might think it would be if you think of the first modern actor that immediately comes to mind."

To me, that actor is Jon Hamm.

@JoshDM Wow. He'd really put the MAN in Superman!

He'd be great as Superman - just before I read that I was thinking how cool he is as Don and how goofy he looks in real life or when he smiles - he'd be great! Mind you, Christopher Reeve is the superman to beat and he was pretty amazing.

Jon Hamm is beautiful and he has a sexy voice.

Somehow, picturing Don Draper in red and blue spandex... shudder. No. No nono...

Don't know about putting him in spandex -- he didn't look half bad in the SNL "Sergio" sketch, but he'd need to bulk up a bit for the Man of Steel -- but with those glasses on he's a perfect Clark Kent.

He's so purty! Of course, I do appreciate his looks, but the fact that he also does comedy really, really well is what makes me adore him.
