I am delighted to announce that starting with this week’s new releases, my reviews will be featured at Movie Review Intelligence. MRI is a review aggregator similar to Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, though it uses a somewhat different metric to award overall grades. Like Metacritic, its selection of critics is quite selective, and it’s a genuine honor for my work to be included there.
I am, of course, a contributing critic to Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, and have been for many years. My reviews are not included at Metacritic, though I’m going to ask them -- again -- to consider including me.

metacritic is useless for movies but it's great for videogames

I actually prefer Metacritic to Rotten Tomatoes; I feel their metric is more sensitive than the simple Up/Down at RT. Is there anything we can do to encourage Metacritic to include you?

If you genuinely believe that your experience and usage of Metacritic would be enhanced by having my reviews included, you could drop an email saying as much to the film editor using this form:

Excellent! Always happy when you get more recognition! With luck this will bring more traffic to the site as well. Kudos! B)
