‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: fan film “Alternate Empire”It’s not just a fan film, it’s also a crossover with the Star Wars universe: This is supposed to be six episodes, but nothing beyond this has been posted yet at the filmmakers’ YouTube channel. I’ll leave it to you to decide whether it’s worth checking back from time to time to see if there’s actually more to come. I won’t be checking. It’s interesting to see how far fans will go to express their love of Doctor Who, but this does not fulfill my unending and unquenchable Doctor Who jones. Huh. It's fairly interesting as an exercise in "how to make a science fiction video", but it certainly isn't Doctor Who.
