‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: Kermit the Frog as Eleven

I love the Muppets and -- obviously -- I love Doctor Who. But this is just odd:

Well, it does explain all that hopping around through time...

Aha! The artist is Mimi-Na -- this explains soooo much. I'm not sure if 11 is the best fit for a Kermit!Doctor. Seems more of a 2-type. I can see the catchphrase now: The Oncoming Flipper.

It's not easy being not ginger...

I want to see a Gonzo-Dalek now!

I want to see a Gonzo-Dalek now!

The Doctor SHALL observe! As this unit ascends THREE flights of stairs! Exterminating the ENTIRE Sultaran armada! While accompanied by Flight of the Valkyries performed on kazoo by POULTRY!

Observe!

OBSERVE!

OBSERRRVE!!!!!!

oh, i thought kermit was the perfect muppet for 11... though now that you mention it, i can see #2 (though there's a lot of overlapping character traits between 11 and 2!). and of course, miss piggy would be a great companion...

There's really three kinds of Doctors: the truly alien, inscrutable ones (1, 4), the kind of silly-seeming ones who are constantly thinking 50 moves ahead in a never-ending game of chess against the darker forces of the universe (2, 7, 11), and the ones who battle today's evil but are too busy dealing with their own issues to think about tomorrow's (5, 6, 9, 10).

Kermit is DEFINITELY in the middle group, so Eleven works for him. I agree with the above commenter, though, Two is a better fit, with the slight vaudeville touch to his silliness.

This... this could very well be the funniest damn thing I've ever read on this site. Especially because I'm imagining Gonzo-dalek saying it. This is gonna crack me up for days. :D

And now I'm picturing an army of Fozzy clones clapping fist to palm and chanting "Wakka HA! Wakka HA!"

Don't you mean Fozztarans?

And it should really be "Wakka WA! Wakka WA!"
