my fave Who Proms scene is still the "Music of the Spheres" short vid filmed with Tennant's Doctor, but as with this, you have to watch it with audience reaction. the kids faces are priceless and Tennant just captures the magic.

Steven Moffat was like you plan ahead, you think of everything and yet the 2 boys you pick to do the bit with Matt both say they can see invisible wires - oh well!
Preferred Music of the Spheres - completely corny but Tennant sold it beautifully.

As fun as Music of the Spheres was, there's just something about having the Doctor there live. It's great that Smith and Moffat were willing to try it. But I do think that they should have expected the kids to say that they could see the psychic wire. They're used to pretending in their normal play, and, more importantly, would you tell the Doctor that you couldn't see or do something? Not me. He might go pick someone else! Yes, Doctor, I do see the purple roller skating giraffe. Now when do I get to ride in the TARDIS?
