trailer break: ‘Skyline’

I saw this trailer in a theater, where the title of the film on offer was not announced prior to its appearance in the trailer itself. And first I thought, Oh, it’s ‘Battle: Los Angeles.’ Then I realized, No, it’s the movie that’s trying to get the jump on Battle: Los Angeles. And then I discovered, when I checked out the IMDB page for Skyline, that directors Colin and Greg Strause are doing visual FX for Battle: Los Angeles. Which is creatively incestuous or suspicious or something.

Skyline opens in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. on November 12.
