commenting was down for a bit...

...but should be back to normal again.

I may have to think about moving to a system like Disqus. Spammers may have been behind the Account Suspended situation earlier: they can crash a site like this one even if their comments never get posted, sort of like a Denial of Service attack.

And once again I've spent an entire afternoon doing things other than making content. *sigh*

I don't want to worry you but I suscribe to a lot of threads and I am not getting any emails through - anyone else having this problem

In other news Camille Pagila is writing a profile of Lady Gaga for the Sunday Times that should be a laugh a minute!

When did you stop receiving them?

I think moving to Disqus is a great plan. Lifts the heavy stuff off your server and has an easy way to login/moderate comments.

Hard to say as my trash has completely emptied itself (I usually read them and delete them) but the last one I have sent out to me in my inbox was 31 August - I'd only worry about it if other people are complaining.

I posted about a possible move. Please go here to talk about Disqus, Echo, and IntenseDebate.

Well, I tested it myself after you mentioned it, and I received no notifications.

I think I really do need to move to Disqus or Echo...
