question of the weekend: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Will you be living in the same house/apartment, city, country? Will you be doing the same job? Spending time with the same friends and family? Do you think your life will be better a decade from now?

Of course, a question like this isn’t really about predicting the future, but about your hopes and dreams for the future. (Don’t feel like you must get intensely personal in your answer here... unless you want to, of course: that’s fine, too.) I think it’s a valuable question to ask yourself every now and again. I’m in a place where I’m thinking about such things a lot lately, mostly because I realized that if someone had asked me this question a decade ago, whatever my answer would have been, it wouldn’t have been: “Pretty much in the same place I am now.” So I’m looking into making some big changes to kickstart the next 10 years.
