At Star Wars Uncut, they chopped Episode IV: A New Hope up into 15-second clips, asked fans to refilm those clips however they liked, and reassembled the best bits into a complete film, if one of a Frankenstein-ian sort. More choice bits:

The creators call it an experiment in “explor[ing] the dynamics of community creation on the web.” I call it compulsively watchable. You can see the entire film here.
