trailer break: ‘Unstoppable’

I can’t help it: I look at this trailer, and I think it’s gotta be a joke. Sorta akin to the Monty Python bit about hijacking a bus to Cuba. You know, it’s funny because it just doesn’t work. Yeah, runaway trains are real enough, but you can just stay far enough away from the train tracks and you’ll be okay.

Oh, but, riiiiight: This isn’t a train, it’s a missile the size of the Chrysler Building, dammit. It’s not safe for children and other living things.

I hope I don’t have to fight the urge to laugh through the whole movie.

Unstoppable opens in the U.S. and Canada on November 12, and in the U.K. on November 24.
