trailer break: ‘Biutiful’

I hope there’s a good reason for the apparent misspelling in the title. And probably there is, because a new film from director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and star Javier Bardem can only mean two things: serious art and awards buzz. The whispers are only just starting -- I haven’t seen the film yet, and only just saw the trailer -- but they’re there: another Oscar for Bardem. We’ll see...

Biutitful opens in the U.S. on December 29, in Canada on January 4, and in the U.K. on January 28, 2011.
