question of the day: What movie has made you angriest, and why?

Entertainment Weekly’s PopWatch asked a funny question yesterday: “Did you see 'The Rite' this weekend? Are you mad too?” Lots of people will have seen the new Anthony Hopkins exorcism flick, with weekend box office estimates putting it at around $15 million, though I’m not sure why anyone would have expected anything good from a horror movie released during the traditional dumping-ground month of January. I don’t see how anyone could honestly feel angry, given that, no matter how bad the flick is. (Apparently, it is indeed pretty bad: it’s at 17 percent Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. I haven’t seen it yet; I’ll catch it before it opens here in the U.K. next month. Look for my review then... and here’s the trailer in the meantime.)

But it does prompt thoughts about movies that do legitimately make us mad, for whatever those legitimate reasons may be. So:

What movie has made you angriest, and why?
