question of the weekend: If you could move anywhere in the world, where would it be?Okay, I’ve done it: I’ve moved to London. I’m tired and scared and lonely... but also hopeful and excited. I don’t know how it’s going to work out, but I’m giving it a try. Living in London is something I’ve been thinking about and wanting to do for years, and now, here I am. It’s not easy and it’s not risk-free, but I figure you’ve got to challenge yourself sometimes. So: imagine that money is not an object. (You’d be doing better than I am in that regard!) Immigration hassles are not an issue. Your other obligations -- to family, to work -- are taken care of to the degree you’d like them to be taken care of (perhaps you’d like to run away from your job and your spouse! or perhaps you want to take them with you). Then consider: If you could move anywhere in the world, where would it be? Happy travels... (If you have a suggestion for a QOTD/QOTW, feel free to email me. Responses to this QOTW sent by email will be ignored; please post your responses here.) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
