rest easy, everyone......Kirk Cameron assures us that dead birds falling out of the sky does not mean the end of the world is nigh. Who else would CNN call for a comment on whether the Biblical endtimes have begun? Why, a washed-up child star trying to stay relevant by starring in a series of paranoid fundamentalist Christian apocalyptic thrillers, that’s who. The funny thing is, both CNN and Cameron appear to realize what an enormous crock of anti-intellectual bullshit it is for Cameron to appear on-camera to comment on this, but they go ahead with it anyway: After thousands of birds mysteriously fell out of the sky in Arkansas on New Year's Eve, it was only natural that Anderson Cooper turned to an expert for an explanation. Enter Kirk Cameron. CNN is snarking about its choice of on-air guest, and its on-air guest insists he’s the wrong person to be talking to. They’re not even pretending anymore to have any journalistic integrity whatsoever. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
