trailer break: ‘No Strings Attached’

Once upon a time, Ivan Reitman made sharp, witty movies including Ghostbusters and Stripes and Dave. Then it all started to go downhill with the likes of Six Days Seven Nights, Evolution, and the abomination that is My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

And now there’s No Strings Attached, about two beautiful people who have sex and insist they won’t fall in love, and yet... surprise! They do!

I bet there isn’t a single giant evil marshmallow mascot stomping on a single church in the whole movie to break up the monotony.

No Strings Attached opens in the U.S. and Canada on January 21, and in the U.K. on February 25.
