Sorry, Sir Anthony Hopkins and associated movie about the paranormal: Skeptics know damn well what we’d do if we found proof. We’d stop being skeptics, because, you know, we’d have proof.

Not that I expected that the 187,543rd movie about exorcism would be any more rationale than 99.99 percent of the rest of them, but one hopes.

The Rite opens in the U.S. and Canada on January 28, and in the U.K. on February 25.
