...online from where I am, here in London. (The ceremony is airing in the U.K. only on a premium Sky channel, which the relatives I’m staying with don’t get. That might seem, at first glance, like a pretty stupid proposition on the part of the British networks, but when you consider that most casual channel surfers won’t still be awake at 1:30am local time, when the ceremony begins, it probably isn’t. Oscar-crazed enough to pull an all-nighter = Oscar-crazed enough to pay for a premium channel.)

So, assuming I can get Oscar.com to play nice -- and that I can stay awake -- look for Oscar live-blogging here in a few hours...
