question of the day: How long do you think Phil Connors -- aka Bill Murray -- spent reliving that one day in ‘Groundhog Day’?I feel like we may have discussed this before, but I couldn’t find it here at FlickFilosopher. So at the risk of repeating myself in order to take advantage of a sorta-holiday: How long do you think Phil Connors -- aka Bill Murray -- spent reliving that one day in Groundhog Day? Show your work! However long it was, could it possibly be as long as this winter must feel to two-thirds of the United States? (FYI, it’s in the mid 40s in London today, and will get into the 50s over the weekend. And no snow!) Here’s hoping that Punxsutawney Phil doesn’t see his shadow... and with a snowstorm about to dump another foot of snow on Pennsylvania, it seems likely that he won’t.
