trailer break: ‘Frankie & Alice’

Halle Berry was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance here without anyone, it seems, apart from the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association having seen the film. One must wonder why the film wasn’t shown to others awards-giving groups. Though perhaps we’re staring to see why it was kept a secret except from the one org known to hand out nominations like candy in order to lure celebs to their party...

Frankie & Alice supposedly opens in the U.S. on February 4, but I can’t find any actual theaters where it’ll be playing; no Canadian or U.K. release dates have been announced.
