What do you think? What is the single most powerful moment ever in cinematic history?

I might pick the end of The Usual Suspects. Or the moment -- also on the list at the Guardian -- when Dorothy opens the door onto the Technicolor world of Oz in The Wizard of Oz. Or maybe when Sam talks about life back in the Shire and all the things (he presumes) that he and Frodo will never see again while they’re waiting to die on Mount Doom in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Or the “Circle of Life” opening scene of The Lion King. Or perhaps Johnny Depp’s entrance in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Or the “you’re getting on that plane” bit in Casablanca. Or... Well, there’s a lot of them, probably. It would be tough to pick a single one.
