question of the day: What are you doing with all the time you’re saving by *not* consuming all the entertainments on offer? As a sort of followup on yesterday’s QOTD about whether you follow TV networks or TV shows, a question from bronxbee (though her suggestion predates yesterday’s QOTD): i've noticed this claim in variations quite frequently in comments on your site: There you are: What are you doing with all the time you’re saving by not consuming all the entertainments on offer? And here’s a side question from me: Do we sometimes make ourselves feel more guilty than we should if/when we do indulge in crap TV or movies, spend hours playing video games, let the commercials run even though we’re watching on DVR, and so on? (If you have a suggestion for a QOTD, feel free to email me. Responses to this QOTD sent by email will be ignored; please post your responses here.) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
