‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: Neil Gaiman on missing scenes from “The Doctor’s Wife”

Some stuff Neil Gaiman wrote never made it into “The Doctor’s Wife,” which is a shame, because it sounds great:

I love the coming-in-midadventure opening gambit. Not just here, but in any story. It makes the characters feel more dynamic, more like they are real people with full lives that we couldn’t possibly see more than just bits of.
