imagine if I wrote this...

Imagine if I -- or any of the rare few film critics who happen to be women -- began my review of, oh, The Hangover, with this:

Comedies with male casts have always been something I avoided. The jokes and the humor are often challenging to someone with ovaries.

But lo and behold:

Comedies with female casts have always been something I avoided. The jokes and the humor are often challenging to someone with testicles.

This is someone calling himself Anghus offering an “alternative voice” in Wilmington, North Carolina, reviewing Bridesmaids.

A despairing argh barely begins to cover it.
