question of the weekend: What is the most romantic pop song ever?Last weekend when I was goofing around with my iTunes collection (warning: do not attempt unless you’re prepared to be up all night), it occurred to me that perhaps the most romantic pop song ever might be the early Hall & Oates hit “Wait for Me.” Check out this ancient video: If it’s not that song, then surely it’s “Follow You Follow Me” by Genesis: Of course, my iTunes collection is disturbingly mainstream. I’m sure there are plenty of impossibly romantic songs I’ve never even heard. So: What is the most romantic pop song ever? (If you have a suggestion for a QOTD/QOTW, feel free to email me.
